One of the most reliable production houses in Kollywood, Aascar Films ably run by Ravichandran for many years has faced a financial crush for the past few months in spite of delivering hits like I` and Bhooloham` and also distributing Hollywood blockbusters Furious 7`, Jurassic World`, Avengers: Age of Ultron` and Mad Max:Fury Road`.

Ravichandran`s assets worth Rs. 35 crores has been put for sale by a bank in Coimbatore to whom he owes money. Kamal Haasan`s Viswaroopam 2` is under production by the company and with these turn of events the films release may take longer than expected.
