The highly placed sources at the Dr.Rajkumar residence disclosed that the new trust formation on the birth anniversary of the icon Dr.Rajkumar on April 24 has decided to give vision to four persons to start with. Among the three topics the trust and family has discussed so far – taking care of hunger, education and providing the vision to needy people the most important is providing vision is what the trust members have felt.

It may be recalled that Dr.Rajkumar eyes were donated after his death on April 12 last year. The campaign after this has built up strongly in Karnataka is that 'Nethradhana is Mahadhana' (donating eyes is the quintessential donation).

The trust formation in the name of icon of Kannada cinema Dr.Rajkumar is taking place on 24th of April 2007 and other objectives of the trust will also be made available. According to the present plans the trust and Dr.Raj family members have decided to meet all the expenses of operation for providing eyes to the blind people. Dr.Bhujanga Shetty of Narayana Nethralaya happens to be the close family friend of Dr.Rajkumar is heading proceedings of operation.

Dr.Rajkumar was a visionary too when he was living. He has been the perfect ambassador of rich heritage and culture of Karnataka. Now the family members opting for providing vision to the needy describes the following of visionary guidelines.
