The audio and pre-release event of 'Vishwaroopam-2' was held in Hyderabad on Thursday. Writer-director-actor Kamal Haasan and other members of the cast were present.

Speaking on the occasion, Kamal said, "If I have been passionate about acting, it's the Telugu audience who are the reason. I will always be proud to say that I am a proud Telugu, a proud Malayali, a proud Indian. Those elder to me have always blessed me. And those younger than me have showered their love upon me. As an actor, I have reached peaks when I did Telugu movies.

More than talent, it's about my luck. Coming to my film, both 'Vishwaroopam' and 'Vishwaroopam-2' are just one film as far as we are concerned. The Telugu audience have always appreciated talent and hard work. Whatever I am today, it's because of the audience. Everybody has invested in me. Although I am your product, I have now become your weapon. You have to use me. It's time for us to fight for our freedom once again."

Ramajogayya Sastry said, "I don't have the experience to talk about Kamal garu's film. I have always grown up watching his movies. I feel fortunate to have got to write the songs for his movie. Kamal garu is a multi-faceted person. He has created a new trend with his films. There are three songs in 'Vishwaroopam-2'. I have only translated the Tamil songs in Telugu. It's Kamal garu who has penned 'Jaithi Mathala' song. He has rendered a song on the mother. I am very happy to have got to work with him."

Music director Ghibran said, "This is a very important film to me. My first film was with Kamal sir. Working on 'Vishwaroopam-2' has been a memorable experience."

Andrea Jeremiah said, "Doing this film has been an incredible experience. It's my fortune that I got to work with Kamal garu. He is like an acting school. I have got to learn so many things from him. He is a very disciplined person."

Pooja Kumar said, "I am excitedly waiting for the release of this movie. I feel fortunate to have got to share the screen space with Kamal garu."
