Tata Sky and Sun Direct are out of the race for screening Vishwaroopam 8 hours before its actual release. For mysterious reasons they opted out of screening the much awaited Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam.

The fans get to watch the film before its release for the first time and the hype is high. Raaj Kamal films is in charge of distribution in Tamil Nadu and Ekta Kapoor in the North. The cost of watching it once on TV is Rs 1000. Both the Tamil and Hindi versions will be released on the 11th of January. The Telugu industry has two other big releases in hand so Vishwaroopam will be released a little later there.
