Will 'Vishwaroopam-2' be deferred? In the wake of the passing away of M Karunanidhi, will Kamal Haasan postpone his spy thriller as a mark of mourning? These are the questions that have been asked for many hours now.

Here is the answer. No, there is no postponement. The film will head to theatres across Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages on August 10 as planned.

Written and directed by Kamal Haasan, it has got a U/A certification from the censor board. The running time of the spy thriller is 141 minutes. Made on a high budget and technical values of international standards, the film also features Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar, Andrea, Shekhar Kapoor, and Waheeda Rahman.

Music is by Mohammed Ghibran, whose album was recently out. Kamal's originally-written song has been translated by lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry. Cinematography is by Sham Dutt, Shainuddin, and Shanu John Varghese. Editing is by Mahesh Narayanan and Vijay Shankar. Dialogues are by Shashank Vennelakanti.
