Vishwanath Hegga is like real-life Pakshi Raja of 2.0

Akshay Kumar's character in '2.0' is inspired by Salim Ali, the ornithologist. But Shankar may well find that there is a guy in Karnataka who loves birds so much that he feeds them imported cereals. Not just him, his entire family is in love with the creatures.

His name is Vishwanath Hegga, a veterinary doctor in Kalaburagi. As reported by a news agency, he has collected birds of 29 different species from various countries.

"I am a veterinary surgeon working with the state government. I am breeding parrots brought from different countries. I started with lovebirds which I got from New Zealand. I am also training birds at my house. We feed them with cereals, imported from Brazil, four times a day. We have named the birds and they respond when we call them. My entire family loves them," Hegga says.
