'Paagal', starring Vishwak Sen in the lead, was supposed to hit the screens on May 1. Due to the second wave of coronavirus, it was postponed.

The news is that the rom-com, which has Nivetha Pethuraj as a heroine, will be arriving at the cinemas on August 14. It's said that the release date was finalized based on the feedback from distributors and exhibitors after the release of 'SR Kalyanamandapam' yesterday. The footfalls are expected to be strong if the film is good.

Sen, who enjoys the moniker 'Mass Ka Dass', last year had a hit in the shape of 'HIT: The First Case'.

Simran Choudhary of 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi' fame has a role in the movie. Directed by Naressh Kuppili, the film is presented by Dil Raju on Sri Venkateswara Creations and is produced by Bekkam Venugopal of Lucky Media. With music by Radhan of the recent 'Jathi Ratnalu' fame, 'Paagal' is perhaps going to be the only noteworthy release in the coming week.
