Vishnu Vishal is a well-known actor in the Tamil film industry. He started his acting career in the year 2007 playing the lead role in the sports film Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, winning critical acclaim for his portrayal. Vishnu won further acclaim for his role in Neerparavai (2012), portraying a fisherman. He rose to fame with the psychological thriller film, Ratsasan (2018).

The acclaimed actor is currently working on F.I.R, helmed by debutant Manu Anand. The film is an action thriller bankrolled by Vishnu Vishal himself under the banner of VV Studioz.

F.I.R features Vishnu Vishal, Gautham Menon, Manjima Mohan, Reba Monica John, Raiza Wilson in lead roles, and Gaurav Narayanan and Prashanth Rangaswamy in supporting roles. The film's music is composed by Ashwath, with editing by Prasanna GK.

The shooting of the film was started on December 2019 and wrapped on February 2021. The team dropped the teaser on January 2021 and unveiled a single song from the album on February 2021.

Today, Vishnu took his twitter to share a red hot update about the flick. The update is that F.I.R is in the final stages of post-production and the team will drop a video song on the 17th of July. The song is called 'Payanam' which will feature Vishnu Vishal and Bigil fame Reba Monica John.

The talented actor says that Payanam is his most favorite song from the F.I.R album. He tweeted, "My favourite track from the album.. Get ready for #Payanam - Full video song from #FIR drops on 17th July. A @MusicAshwath musical, directed by @itsmanuanand."
