Now the Arrambam` director has said in a recent interview that his next will be a period flick set in the 9th century. For this he has roped in writer Balakumaran as he will be the apt person to guide and support him in collecting materials on historical events of Tamil Nadu.

The duo has been visiting so many temples across the state to read the inscription and get the necessary information for the script.

Vishnuvardhan has further said that the idea arose in his mind four years back and also started the preliminary work on the script at that time with the ace writer. But he could not continue due to other commitments. But now he has determined to complete this project before taking up any other directorial offers.

With a talented filmmaker and a veteran writer we can definitely expect a grand historical subject in Tamil.
