Vishnu Vishal has a unique ability to choose different genres, characters and storylines for his films. Right from his debut as a hero in 'Venilla Kabaddi Kuzhu' which won him two awards for Best Debut Actor, he has earned a good name in most of his films namely 'Kullanari Kootam', 'Jeeva', 'Neeparvai', 'Mundasupathi', 'Indru Nettru Naalai, 'Vellaiynu Vandhutta Vellaikkaran', 'Ratchasan', 'FIR' and 'Gatta Kusthi'. Most of his films have been both critically acclaimed and commercially successful.
On the personal side Vishnu Vishal was married to his childhood sweetheart Rajini from 2010 and their son Aryan was born in 2017. However in 2018 the couple divorced due to undisclosed reasons. Vishnu then started dating famous badminton champion Jwala Gutta and the couple tied the knot in 2021.
A few days back Vishnu posted a cryptic message on Twitter "I tried again, I failed again, I learnt again...That last time wasnt a failure and wasnt my mistake. It was betrayal and deception." The post triggerred speculation among fans that the busy actor is heading for a divorce for the second time.
Vishnu deleted the earlier post and clarified "Hey all My tweeet few days back has been terribly misinterpreted..It was on proffessional front n not personal at all..The biggest gift that we give someone is TRUST And when we fail we always blame ourselves..
We shudn be hard on ourselves THATS ALL I MEANT ALL IS WELL". He has also retweeted a video posted by his wife Jwala Gutta containing their intimate moments to show to the world how happy the couple are.
Vishnu Vishal's next biggie is 'Lal Salaam' idirected by Aishwarya Rajinikanth after a long gap. The film has Vikranth as the parallel lead and Superstar Rajinikanth in a powerful character along with veteran actress Jeevitha. A.R. Rahman is composing the music for the film, which is being produced on a grand scale by Lyca Productions.
