Vishnu Vishal recently made headlines when the photos of his nude photoshoot went viral on social media. He captioned the images “Well… joining the trend! ALMOST!” referring to the recent photos of Vijay Deverakonda and Ranveer Singh.

While many trolled him for the photos calling it attention seeking, he has finally broken his silence on the same “I’d like to clarify that it’s not a photoshoot per se. These were pictures that Jwala clicked on her phone right after we woke up because she felt my physique was looking nice. When I was wondering if I should post them or not, she said there were instances of such pics being shared recently - Vijay Deverakonda’s movie poster and Ranveer’s photoshoot images.

"She also told me there was nothing wrong in posting the pictures as I was just showing off my physique that I had worked hard for. I was still a little sceptical because there is a certain perception people have about me, my movies and the characters I play. And Jwala said that was exactly what I should break and show people that I was versatile.,” he added.

Vishnu Vishal before entering the film industry was part of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association and he discontinued the sport after suffering a leg injury. He is now married to the Indian badminton player Jwala Gutta. The actor was last seen in the film ‘FIR’ which was released on February 11 in theatres. He is now awaiting the release of his film ‘Mohandas’ and is also filming for the sports drama ‘Gutta Kasthi’ along with Ravi Teja.
