Vishnu Vishal shares a note from his heart: From ‘Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu’ to ‘Lal Salaam’!

Vishnu Vishal is one of the most profitable actors in Tamil cinema. He completes 15 years in his cinema journey today. On this day in 2009, Vishnu made his debut with director Suseenthiran's maiden film, 'Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu', a highly acclaimed sports entertainer.

After 15 years, the actor is now waiting for the release of 'Lal Salaam', an upcoming sports drama. Vishnu Vishal took to social media and put out a heartfelt statement about his cine journey, which is going viral now. He captioned it, "An incredible journey from #VennilaKabaddiKuzhu to #LalSalaam, grateful for all the love and support I've recieved from the audiences This year is extra special. A note from the heart, here."

Vishnu Vishal's statement says:

"It has been fifteen years in the industry since my first film 'Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu' released and looking back, it has been a rollercoaster journey and what a journey it has been which I'm very proud of. At this moment, I am extremely grateful to my director Suseenthiran for giving me a great start to my career.

I have always been a firm believer that films do influence the society, though not all of them are intended to do so. Whenever I get the chance, I have always grabbed the opportunity to pass on the right messages to the audience through my films. I am also very clear that even if my films do not create a positive impact always, they should not have any sort of a negative influence on the people who have watched it. In that way, I am happy that the films I've done bring about a positive aura along with them.

One thing that I am very proud of in my fifteen year journey is the fact that I've always tried to do something different, and amidst the 20 films that I have done so far, more than half of them are going to live forever in the hearts of Tamil cinema's audiences for generations to come.

The 15th year is extra special, I have 'Lal Salaam' where I am sharing the screen with 'THE one and only Superstar Rajinikanth', a man who is the biggest and best of our country. I feel that my journey is peaking at the right moment and in the right direction. Today I want to specially thank all my producers and directors who have believed in me so far. I want to thank every single crew member of each film, right from the actors to my technicians all the way from lightmen to my assistants who have lent a helping hand in my journey so far.

I wholeheartedly thank the Tamil cinema audiences for their extensive support, also to the critics and media who have been honest with me, which in turn has been a great influence in my decision making so far.

In my ups and downs, my family has been my backbone in holding me together. I thank my friends and family who have always come forward to lend their shoulder in both good and bad.

The time ahead looks all the more exciting as I have a long list of films lined up one after the other along with a few surprise announcements as well.

Right now, I just want to say one thing - Life will throw many challenges at you to test your skills, perseverance and your effort, but as long as you are focused and strong with your ideologies and actions, there is nothing stopping you.

Love,
Vishnu Vishal."
