Vishnu Vishal starrer, director Ram Kumar's superhit thriller Ratsasan was in news for the past few days after it became the number one ranked Tamil film and number three ranked Indian film in the popular movie database portal IMDb.

Now it looks like a sequel to the psycho killer thriller is in the making and this was revealed when Vishnu Vishal and director Ramkumar had a fun discussion on Twitter, where they hinted at a potential sequel to Ratsasan.

Vishnu Vishal asked director Ramkumar if the script for Ratsasan 2 ready, and the director replied saying "poitruku", meaning the scripting is in progress. Starring Vishnu Vishal, Amala Paul, Ammu Abhirami, Munishkanth and Saravanan, Ratsasan is about a cop who solves the mystery of a serial killer's murders.
