Vishnu, Uppi birthday celebrated

The top actors of Kannada cinema Dr Vishnuvardhana turned 60 while Upendra the real star turned 41 and Shruthi stepped in to 38 years celebrated happy birthday on September 18 in the morning.

It is ‘Sashtipurthi’ for Dr Vishnuvardhana the rituals in the house began early in the morning. Dr Vishnuvardhana with his wife Bharathi Vishnuvardhana, children, son in law Anirudh and grand children with Snehaloka Team arrived at 9.05 am to wave at the fans and cut huge 60 kilograms of cakes.

At the Banashanker residence it was almost a gate crash to take a look at real star Upendra. Thousands of fans came in queue later and hundreds of cakes were cut by Uppi brought by his fans. There were slogans for the success of ‘Rajani’ that is releasing today in 80 theatres of Karnataka. Upendra obliged every fan received number of garlands. Later he was followed in the house where Uppi cut a huge cake with his family members and cute looking wife and children.

From there Upendra changed his vehicles to reach Aparna theatre on Subedar Chatram road. Finally he dropped in an ordinary Maruthi van with director of ‘Rajani’ Thriller Manju to get inside the gate to cut another huge cake organized by producer of ‘Rajani’ Ramu. Upendra waved at his fans for a long time and left before the morning show of ‘Rajani’ was over.

Actress Shruthi not had a grand birthday celebration. She is on a low key after filing divorce to her husband cum director S Mahender. Shruthi’s friend Chakravarthy is making preparations to launch a new film starring Shruthi.
