Vishnu Manchu's wife and Mohan Babu's daughter-in-law Viranica Reddy sustained minor injuries as her car was collided by another vehicle in a road accident in the Jalpally area. She was travelling to the Manchu family-owned farm house from her residence in Hyderabad. As soon as she met with the accident, Viranica was rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment. She is currently recuperating at Apollo Hospital.

Vishnu has expressed his gratitude toward the car company for the safety measures inbuilt into its design. It's these safety measures which have prevented the accident from turning out to be potentially fatal.

Taking to Twitter, husband Vishnu thanked the brand saying, "I really have to thank @volvocarsglobal company for making such a safe car #XC90 ...doubt if any other car would have protected her so much".
