It took Sreenu Vytla to give a fillip to Vishnu's sagging career. Dhee, which was released amidst low expectations, scripted easy success at the Box Office. It was no accidental hit for Vishnu, who exhibited maturity as well as ease in his acting. However, the Manchu scion has not been very lucky when it comes to bagging films under directors like Vytla who can make in-fashion films.

Salim was, to put it mildly, a ridiculous flop. It was proudly made at a big cost by Mohan Babu. Vasthadu Naa Raju, which came later, sank without a trace. At least Salim had made headlines because of Telangana protests!

The star son needs to find his feet in the industry. Dorakudu is his next, and the film is being made without much publicity. Romancing Hansika Motwani in the film is Vishnu, who is supposedly trying for an image makeover. Directed by G Nageshwara Reddy, the film is a comedy entertainer.
