Vishnu Manchu has started attracting a healthy buzz ahead of the elections to Movie Artists Association. The young actor-producer is running for the post of President, something that has been confirmed officially.

In his endeavour, the 'Doosukeltha' actor has got the blessings of veteran actors from the Telugu film industry. His 'Dhee' with Prakash Raj (the other contender) has got revved up. The welfare of the members of MAA and the construction of a new MAA building are on the top of Vishnu's agenda.

It's learned that Superstar Krishna and yesteryear 'Rebel Star' Krishnam Raju have conveyed their best wishes to Vishnu. "They are delighted with Vishnu's decision to take the plunge. They hope that, as the new President of MAA, the actor will bring a positive change in its workings. He is full of ideas and means well," a source says.

Not only has the 'Mosagallu' actor got a cheerful go-ahead from his father, Dr. Mohan Babu, he has also inspired confidence in a lot of MAA members. It goes without saying that Vishnu has entered the fray as the favourite. His chances of winning the election have brightened up.
