Rowdy will be the first official film to be distributed by 24 Frames Factory LLC in US. The company plans to distribute 12-15 films a year

India - India based 24 Frames Factory, India’s leading regional film production and distribution player has launched its U.S. distribution company 24 Frames Factory LLC. The American operations will focus on independent films and their own production distribution in cinema theaters.

Ram Gopal Varma’s Rowdy will be the first official film to get distributed by 24 Frames Factory in USA. A new US operational head has already begun work from its New Jersey office. The company also announced plans to establish operations in Los Angeles shortly.

This new arm is a strategic move to support the development and monetization of 24 Frames Factory’s swelling film properties and its future film acquisitions portfolio. The company currently owns a superb industry reputation and an incredible strong portfolio of films.

Making the announcement Vishnu Manchu, said "Given the hunger for Indian films that are made by independent film makers and production companies like us, and the fact we are now financing a large proportion of productions, we no longer see the value working with other distributors. So setting up a distribution arm is a natural progression for 24 Frames Factory business expansion and growth as a media and entertainment powerhouse globally."

24 Frames Factory targets to distribute two or three major-scale films with big-star cast every year. Those will be the main business surrounded by other middle-size titles with a clear distinction of genre and concept such as action, comedy and pop corn entertainers.

“The spotlight thrown onto classic India films especially from the south of India like Telugu films popularity in the US have energized this industry," Vishnu added. "24 Frames Factory work on entertainment genre is now a reference in south of India. We felt it is natural for us to expand this to new markets especially US where we have large number of Indian Residents." Vishnu stated.

Founded by Vishnu Manchu 24 Frames Factory has already launched several initiatives in India to expand its business, creating an in-house production, post production and digital studios, most recently launching international sales operations.
