This is the time for second death anniversary of Dr Vishnuvardhana. Instead of holding the film festival in Bengaluru the attempt this year is spreading the film festival of giant actor in all the districts of Karnataka. For this purpose 30 films out of 200 films of Dr Vishnuvardhana have been selected for showing throughout the day in one theatre of each district.

The Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy has taken responsibility of screening one film of Dr Vishnu in one district of Karnataka and the team of KCA ‘Belli Mandala’ units spread across the state that looks at the 'Education in cinema'.

At two acres land at Dr Vishnuvardhana Memorial spot the medical checkup like Blood pressure, sugar, dental, artificial limb, polio, women related diseases, eye, blood camp is conducted by Ramaiah hospital Dr Solanki, Raja Rajeswari dental college, BGS global, Sapthagiri hospital, Karnataka Red cross are joining hands this year.

Rotarian BL Nagendra Prasad, Shivaramanna, TS Nagabharana, Anirudh, Vijakumar were present at the media address. Computers will be distributed to poor and needy on this occasion.
