Vishal, the tall and dark handsome hero in Kollywood, says, 'One day I would certainly direct a movie and leave my mark'.

Currently acting in Thimir being directed by debutant Tharun Gopi, Vishal, says, 'Before I began acting, I did a lot of home work'.

His association with Koothupattarai, a high-profile theatre group, helped him to get into the skin of characters. He also honed his martial art skills and learnt the right dance steps.

Currently Vishal has been assigned to do two movies namely Thirumayam (to be directed by Karu Palaniappan) and an untitled movie to be directed by director Hari.

Vishal says, 'My immediate priority is to establish myself as a good actor. Perhaps at a later stage, I would love to direct movies'.
