Actor Vishal is the most hot and happening young hero in the film industry not just because of his films but also his tirade against the present office bearers of the South India Artists Association (Nadigar Sangam).

Vishal who took part in a mass wedding ceremony for 10,000 couples, organised by his fan club on Sunday averred that he will not back out of the election for Nadigar Sangam that will be conducted on July 15 despite threats from various circles. He is reportedly contesting for the post of general secretary of the sangam.

Vishal cited that the sangam's past president Vijayakanth moved out of the post as soon as he started a political party, but the current president Sarathkumar and general secretary Radharavi were holding on to the post despite having political affiliations.

The 'Aambala' actor also expressed hope of winning in the elections as he claims to have garnered the support of young generation actors.
