One of the main factors that keep the common man away from cinema halls is the huge ticket price coupled with exorbitant eatables and parking charges. The central governments GST roll out from July 1st is going to further increase ticket rates to as much as 28 percent.

Vishal has announced that the TNFPC apart from starting a bouquet of television channels will also start an online movie ticket booking platform. Currently, those who book online have to shell out an extra 30 bucks, but Vishal`s new site will only charge Rupees 10 per ticket thereby saving the consumer 20 rupees per ticket. In the coming days more such reforms inducing announcements are expected from Vishal.
