'Thupparivaalan' and 'Magalir Mattum' CBO performance

The Vishal –Mysskin combo have ensured  'Thupparivaalan' to make history as Vishal's best opening in his career in Chennai.  The film in its debut four day weekend (14th to 17th September)  has enjoyed 85% occupancy in the 19 theaters running 237 shows and collecting an impressive INR 1, 56,19,823.

'Magalir Mattum' the other major release has proved Jyothika's box office power by getting her the biggest opening for a female oriented film ever  for the three day weekend (15th to 17th September) collecting  INR 94,15,608 from 18 theaters and 246 shows enjoying 90% occupancy.
