Actor-Producer Vishal is always known for giving surprises and daring steps. Now he has proved his boldness yet again with the release of his next film.

Vishal's next film as the hero is 'Kaththi Sandai' which was earlier scheduled to hit the screens for Pongal 2017. Now the release of the film has been advanced by three weeks which means 'Kaththi Sandai' will be released on December 23, 2016 for Christmas weekend.

It is understandable that the makers of 'Kaththi Sandai' have capitalised the big Box office space vacated by 'S3' which was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on December 23 and now postponed. But it is unbelievable that they are well prepared to release a film three weeks in advance. It is almost a never before seen phenomenon. Usually the release of films get advanced by a maximum of one week that too when the release time is nearing.

'Kaththi Sandai' has been directed by Suraaj and it will see Vishal pairing up with Tamannah for the first time. Vaigaipuyal Vadivelu has played a comedian role after many years gap while Soori will also be providing comic relief in addition. Hiphop Tamizha has rendered the music score Richard M.Nathan has handled the cinematography.

'Kaththi Sandai' has been produced by S.Nandagopal of Madras Enterprises in association with Vishal's Vishal Film Factory banner.
