A few days ago, we informed you that Vishal wrapped up the entire shooting of his upcoming film 'Laththi'. Touted to be a survival thriller, the movie is helmed by debut director Vinod Kumar and bankrolled by Ramana and Nandaa's banner RANA Productions.

The actor has started the promotional campaign for the outing already. Today, the makers announced the release date of the Laththi teaser with an antecedent (prelude) promo. The video opens with a compilation of Tamil cinema's iconic cop movie scenes and goes on to reveal Vishal as a fit and courageous police constable.

Laththi was initially planned to be released on August 11. But the team is now planning to release the survival thriller on September 15, because of multiple injuries suffered by Vishal during the shooting of action episodes and heavy VFX works for fight sequences. Actress Sunainaa is playing the leading lady in the much-awaited movie.

Vishal got injured a few times while shooting for Laththi and the makers are planning Pan-Indian release. The movie has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. NB Srikanth has taken care of the editing and Balasubramaniem has handled the cinematography while Dhilip Subbarayan serves as the stunt choreographer.
