Actor and the new General Secretary of Nadigar Sangam Vishal is presently acting in the film 'Kathakali' directed by Pandiraj and Catherine Thresa is his lead heroine in the film.

We had earlier reported that Vishal has signed up to star in the film 'Marudhu' to be directed by Muthaiah of 'Kutti Puli' and 'Komban' fame. The heroine of this film was earlier touted to be Lakshmi Menon who has acted in both the films directed by Muthaiah so far. Later it was said that she is not acting in this film and the team started scouting for the lead lady.

After a long search, Sri Divya has been zeroed in to play the female lead role in 'Marudhu' and the pretty actress will be pairing up with Vishal for the first time in this film.

'Marudhu' is expected to go on floors after Vishal finishes acting in 'Kathakali' which is fast nearing completion.
