Actor Vishal's latest film 'Kathakali' is continuing its merry run at the box office for the third week. The film has received predominantly positive reviews from audience and critics as a entertaining and suspense filled thriller.

Vishal is presently busy shooting for his next film 'Marudhu' directed by Muthiah of 'Komban' fame. The shooting of the film has been progressing in Rajapalayam, a town in Virudhunagar district near Madurai. The monumental Sri Aandal Temple is located in Srivilliputhur, a nearby town.

The 'Marudhu' team comprising of Vishal, Muthiah and actor Soori who plays an important role in this film visited this temple on Wednesday and sought the blessings of the lord. The photos of the temple visit has been doing rounds in social media since morning.

'Marudhu' stars Vishal and Sridivya in lead roles and Radharavi plays an important character role. R.K.Suresh who played a menacing villain in director Bala's 'Tharai Thappattai' has been cast as the villain in this film also. D.Imman is scoring music Velraj is handling the cinematography and Praveen K.L is taking care of Editing.

'Marudhu' is being produced by Anbucheziyan under the Gopuram Films banner.
