In a tragic news, two children aged between 8 and 10 years paid with their dear lives after a grave mishap. The incident occured in Chennai’s Kodungaiyur where the two girls were electrocuted owing to the Electricity Board’s negligence as a live wire lay open in contact with stagnated water.
Kamal has already slammed the government asking for proper measures instead of condolences and compensation. Now Vishal who is the President of the Tamil Film Producers Council and the General Secretary of the Nadigar Sangam, voiced out his anger regarding the issue.
Citing that the death of people by electrocution have become commonplace, Vishal stated that Chennai is ill equipped to handle natural calamities. He also added that such mistakes must be rectified so that such incidents don’t happen again.
“How many more people do we have to sacrifice to make people mend their mistakes? This is a crime. Not a mistake, but a crime,” Vishal reiterated.
