As we had reported earlier, Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' is likely to hit the screens in June 2018 for the EID weekend. Now Producers Council President Vishal has hinted a possible release date for Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's 'Viswaroopam 2'. 

Speaking about the upcoming release schedule after the month long Kollywood strike has been ended on Tuesday, Vishal said the producers of 'V2' are planning to release the film in May 2018.

Vishal assured support to the release of both the biggies as the makers of both the films have completely cooperated to the producers council during the strike time. 

Vishal also spoke at length about his plans to form a release schedule for all the upcoming Tamil films. According to that the biggies will be allowed to release during the 14 festival occasions of the year while the small budget films will have to accommodate their films during the remaining period.
