The Tami Film Producer`s Council has issued a Red Card on theatrical release of new Tamil Films from September 4 2015, in protest of alleged attempts of extorting money by a particular theatre owner and a few other distributors as his allies. Within few hours after the announcement of this decision by producers, actor Vishal, the lead actor of Paayum Puli` which was scheduled to release on Friday (September 4) in Tamil and Telugu languages has taken to Twitter and confirmed that his film would release in both the languages as per schedule.
Here is what the talented and brave actor had to say in his Twitter page about this.
Y do u ppl bring out issues on da last day insted of solving it months bfore Unethical.Y stop releases jus for 1 distributor n few theatres

The Producer council had stated that the decision to stop the release of all new Tamil films was taken only to seek the Government`s action against the erring theatre owner and distributors are trying to extort money from Vendhar Movies, the producers of Paayum Puli`. But Vishal`s announcement says the film would release would not be stopped just for one distributor and a few theatres.
We will have to wait and watch.
