In the wake of 'MeToo' allegations actor, Nadigar Sangam General Secretary and Tamil Film Producers Council President Vishal have urged all the South Indian Film industries to ensure a safe and comfortable for women.
He has said that the unethical practice such as sexually abusing women in the pretext of giving opportunities to act in films should stop once for all.
However, the 'Sandakozhi 2' actor did not spare those who misuse 'MeToo' campaign with the ill intention of bringing disrepute to respected male celebrities. Vishal said "'MeToo' should not be misused as a weapon to create disrepute to men with the intention of taking revenge. there is a difference between the consensual relationship between a man and woman and a man coercing women to co-operate to him. Consensual relationships cannot and should not be reported under 'MeToo' Even I have dated a few women in the past but that does not mean I misused or abused them."
