Vishal and his supporters were in for shock and disappointment when his nomination to contest the R.K.Nagar by-polls was rejected a few moments back. Vishal and his followers have now resorted to ‘dharna’ against the rejection of his nomination.

Reports are also coming in that Vishal has demanded an explanation from the Election officer Velusamy twice pertaining to the rejection of his filing. “It is not right to have rejected my nomination. Shouldn’t youngsters come into politics? Shouldn’t they contest elections?” a seemingly agitated Vishal told the presspersons. Reportedly, Vishal has also received threats from two unknown persons asking him to not contest the R.K.Nagar polls.

Regarding this, actor Ramana has stated that they will continue to fight this issue legally. As of now, Vishal and his supporters are engaged in a road protest against the decision to reject Vishal’s nomination.
