Actor Vishal and director Mysskin announced that they will be teaming up for a spy thriller flick 'Thupparivalan' which was launched with a formal Pooja in March this year.

Mysskin was busy with his acting and production venture 'Savarakathi' then and after he took time to finish the script for 'Thupparivalan'. Vishal has completed shooting for his grand Diwali release 'Kaththi Sandai' in the meantime.

For the past couple of weeks, apparently the director and the hero seems to have involved in some kind of rehearsals before starting the shoot.

Today (September 26, 2016) the film's shooting has commenced today in Chennai.

The star cast of the film includes veteran director-actor K. Bhagyaraj, young heroes Prasanna and Vinay. Rakul Preet Singh has signed up to play the female lead. Arrol Corelli who has worked with Mysskin in 'Pisasu' and 'Savarakathi' will be taking care of musical score for this film.

'Thupparivalan' will be produced by its lead actor Vishal under the Vishal Film Factory banner.
