‘Irumbu Thirai’ directed by P.S.Mithran is one of the most anticipated films by fans. The film features Vishal, Samantha and Arjun in the lead roles. The audio launch event of the film saw the presence of Vishal’s mother Lakshmi Devi, father G.K.Reddy , music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja among many others. 

Speaking at the event, Vishal stated that ‘Irumbu Thirai’ was a film which deals with a major corruption that atleast once everybody would have experienced it in their lives. Vishal also stated that he was the reason for the film’s delay and that he apologises for the same.

Vishal said that films which deal with social issues are received well by the people and 'Irumbu Thirai' would be one such film. The actor also went all praises for the film's music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja. "Yuvan Shankar Raja is my family friend and I love his compostions. The songs for the film has really come out well and I'm waiting for the background score of the movie," he said.

“’Irumbu Thirai’ is an important film considering we live in the digital era. Even my father had faced the same problem which has been discussed in the film,” he said. Vishal also was elated at the fact that he got to play the role of an army soldier which was once his ambition. 

On a different note, he also professed that whoever wants to do good is a poltician. Going by what the actor says and the traction that the film has been gaining among the audience, fans are excited to catch movie on the big screen very soon.
