Fan anticipation for Vishal's 'Irumbu Thirai' directed by P.S.Mithran is ever so high. In the recently held teaser launch event for the movie, Vishal disclosed the identity of one person who would have been happy that he didn't get to contest the R.K.Nagar by-polls.

During his speech, Vishal said that the film was supposed to have released in April, but did not make it as he had to contest the producers council election for the common good and welfare. "Numerous scandulous remarks about me can come, but when I look into the mirror I want to stand with no smudge in my conscience. And it has been like that always, the mirror is my true friend," Vishal stated.

Vishal also added that the film's director would have been happy that the actor didn't contest the R.K.Nagar elections as it may have postponed teh 'Irumbu Thirai' release.
