It is common in Hollywood and Bollywood circles to screen the movie prior to its release to receive feedback and corrections on the final product. The screening is usually done to  a group that comprises of the makers of film, close associates and general audience to avert mistakes that may go unnoticed in the film. 

The procedure which is termed as ‘Pre Release Focus Discussion’ will be followed for the first time in Tamil Cinema as well. Yes, Vishal’s most anticipated ‘Irumbu Thirai’ is set to follow this procedure for the first time in Kollywood. Based on the effectiveness of this technique, it is expected that other films might also follow this unique approach to rectify and polish their films before the release itself.
