Vishal took a break a few days back from his hectic schedules acting in 'Sandakozhi 2' as well as his capacity as the President of the Producers Council and General Secretary of Nadigar Sangam.  There were speculations in the media citing health issues for the break.

We got in touch with sources in the Vishal camp and got the info that it is indeed a health issue that has forced Vishal to take a few weeks break after several years.  During the making of Bala's 'Avan Ivan' Vishal strained his eyes to get it to a squint for his character which damaged the nerves connecting the eye and the brain.  There is only one hospital in the world that specializes in treating this ailment which is in California.

Vishal has flown to California and his treatment has been a success and he is very well now.  Soon the macho hero will be back to join the 'Sandakozhi 2' sets and will also make exciting announcement of new films.
