On 2nd September a young man Pandiarajan passed away in his native Madurai. He had worked for five years as an office boy and then personal car driver of Vishal but was fired ten months back. The father of Pandiarajan had stated to the press that Vishal could have saved the life of his son but did not help him out financially other than paying him his salary due of ten thousand plus another ten thousand rupees when he was seriously admitted in the hospital.

Vishal's manager Hari has clarified that Pandiarajan was fired ten months back and all his dues had been paid. Six months back when news came that the young man was serious in the hospital due to organ failure caused by heavy alcoholic intake, it was Vishal's staff who had admitted him in Madurai Velammal hospital and got him treated. It is said that the doctors had sent him home because nothing could be done and it is unreasonable to blame Vishal according to Hari. He has added that when the 'Sandakozhi 2' hero helps so many unknown people through his Devi trust he would not refuse help for his ex-employee.
