Actor Vishal has been continuously helping destitute people from film industry and also general public. Now aged play back singer Sarala Amma joins the list.

Sarala Amma has been singing in Tamil films since the 'Ratha Kanneer' the classic social satire of M.R.Radha. She also sung the popular song 'Nooraandu Kalam Vazhga Noi Nodi Illamal Valarga' in the Sivaji Ganesan Padmini starrer 'Pesum Deviam' along with L.R.Eshwari and Soolamangalam Rajalakshmi,

Vishal learnt that Sarala Amma is struggling to make ends meet in the old age as there is no one to take care of her. The General Secretary of Nadigar Sangam immediately arranged to pay a monthly stipend of Rs.5000 to her from his Devi Trust.

It is worth recalling that Vishal was the first to help senior playback singer and actress Paravai Muniyamma for her medical expenses last year. Recently he rendered financial assistance to Kollangudi Karuppayi another old aged singer-actor.
