Vishal started his career as an assistant director to Action King Arjun who encouraged him to become an actor instead and the tall and fit hero is one of the leading action heroes in Kollywood today. Vishal and Mysskin joined hands for the sequel of the 2017 super hit 'Thupparivaalan' and the film was shot in London for a month. However creative differences cropped up between the hero and the director and Mysskin opted out of the project. We had already reported that Vishal is taking over as director and now the official announcement has come.

The first look of 'Thupparivaalan' which is the 29th film of Vishal will be unveiled today March 11th. The announcement poster shows Vishal as the director along with Ilayaraja as the music director. Prasanna, Lovely Singh, Nassar, Rahman and Gautami are the others in the cast. Vishal Film Factory is bankrolling and more updates on this exciting project will be known soon.
