Vishal confirms 'Mersal' release

Vishal after several rounds of talks with the Tamil Nadu government has just announced that it has been agreed to reduce the entertainment tax from 10 percent to 8 percent.  He has also stated that he will insist the government to also reduce the tax for other language films which now stands at 20%.

To the question that is on everyone's lips, Vishal said that Thalapathy Vijay's 'Mersal' will release as planned on Diwali day.
