Actor Vishal's 'Kathakali' directed by Pandiraj is holding on well at the box office in its third week after release. Now a particular scene which courted controversy has been removed.

A caste based outfit had objected to certain dialogues in the film as they were causing insult to them and demanded that they be removed. Now Vishal who is also one of the producers of the film has voluntarily come forward and has removed the objectionable part which comes to around 20 seconds. This particular portion was removed from the prints being screened in theaters from Thursday

A separate certificate issued by the Censor board mentioning the removal of the scene has also been obtained by the makers.
