Actor Vishal is acting in several movies like Chakra directed by debutant MS Anand and co-starring Shraddha Srinath and Regina Cassandra and Thupparivaalan 2 directed by Mysskin and co-starring Prasanna and Ashya. Both the movies are produced by Vishal's Vishal Film Factory.

It was recently reported that Vishal has signed a new movie which will be directed by Irumugan, Arima Nambi and NOTA director Anand Shankar, and that this movie will have Ritu Varma as the female lead and Vishal's close friend Arya as the villain.

This movie was also supposed to be produced by Vishal Film Factory and was planned to be shot entirely in Malaysia. However as per latest reports, as the action movie requires a grand scale Vishal and team are on the lookout to find a new producer for this movie which is expected to begin shooting in May.
