The tug of war between Nadigar Sangam Secretary Vishal and the Tamil Nadu Film Producers Council remains in a deadlock at today`s court hearing too. Earlier the lawyer for the council stated to the court that if Vishal rendered an apology the council will consider revoking his suspension after which the former put in a petition regretting some of his remarks.

At today`s hearing the lawyer of the council has stated that Vishal has been continuously degrading the council and hence it has been decided not to accept his apology and that he will not be reinstated. The court accepted the statement and has adjourned the case to the 10th of January. This new twist in the tale could well mean that Vishal cannot contest in the Producer Council elections to be held on the 5th of February unless the issues are amicably sorted out between the two warring parties.
