Kollywood is facing a grim situation as the Tamil Film Producers Council has stated that shooting for all films will stop from March 16 owing to their standoff with Digital Service Providers. Pertaining to this, the Council has released its new set of demands and requests demaning an answer.
The demands are :
1.Producers will not be accepting or paying VPF rents for Digital Service Providers like UFO and Qube.
2.Flexible ticket pricing should be made according to the star value in the film to increase the crowd.
3.Online ticket charges should be slashed and brought down.
4.All theatres should have computerized ticket booking.
5.Release regulation terms for small-scale movies as they face problems in getting screens.
6.To control and regulate the exorbitant production costs for a film.
The release also stated that the strike will continue until all the above said demands are met with.
