Vishal and team on war footing to help rain affected Chennai

Chennai is in a state of shock as the torrential downpour played havoc in the city’s day-to-day functioning. The lashing rains continued to intensify throughout the night creating panic and anxiety among the public.
In light of this, the city police, members of the non-governmental organisations, volunteers and several state departments are on a war footing to provide relief to the rain affected people. As a first step measure, people from low laying regions of the city are being migrated to safer areas.
Also a team comprising of actors including Vishal, Karthi and Nassar have been formed to provide relief measures to people who have been affected by the rains. Vishal has also provided lifelines to the general public. People can contact these numbers in case of any help needed.
