Actor Vishal who has been doing various social activities was one of the first to help Chennai people during the floods last year. He has also helped many individuals and groups of people with the help they needed.

The talented actor has now come forward for a farmer from Thanjavur, whose story has been going viral in social media. Balan a farmer who could not pay EMI for the vehicle he purchased for his agricultural work has been arrested by Police recently based on a complaint from bank authorities. The way the police personnel arrested the poor farmer and allegedly thrashed him has lead to a furore in social media

Now Vishal has agreed to pay the entire amount payable by Balan to let him off from the liability. He has shared this news in his Twitter handle.
