The trailer for 'Virupaksha' shows that every love story in a mysterious village needs to confront larger-than-life challenges. As the trailer begins, the hero (Sai Dharam Tej) enters Rudravanam with a sense of curiosity. Mysterious deaths and an ominous future put him in a spot after he falls in love with the village's most beautiful woman (Samyuktha).

The Modhamamba Temple has been used effectively. The architecture of Rudravanam looks graceful through the lens of Shamdat Sainudeen. This brings us to the aura lent by director Karthik Dandu's vision.

With the screenplay written by Sukumar, the film has Sai Chand (foreboding evil), Sunil (daring people to dare death) and Ajay (predicitng a massacre and motivating the hero to become a saviour) in key roles. The BGM by B Ajaneesh Loknath of 'Kantara' fame and the production design by Sri Nagendra Tangala enhance a story that has elements like 'Ashtadighbandhanam' and the cessation of the village's powerful temple.

The film hits the screens on April 21 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. Also featuring Brahmaji and others, this one is produced by Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings.
