‘Virupaksha’, starring Sai Dharam Tej in the lead, will hit the screens on April 21. Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings have kicked off its musical promotions days after unveiling the movie’s teaser.
The song ‘Nachavule Nachavule’ today started streaming on Sony South Music. Composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath, the song feels like a male version of ‘Maastaru Maastaru’ from ‘SIR’ in terms of the heroine’s role reversal. There, Samyuktha’s character secretly adored the hero, while here, it is her turn to receive overt displays of affection. Sai Dharam Tej’s boy-next-door looks, as brought out through costumes and apt demeanor, make the song worth it. Sung by Karthik and written by Krishna Kanth, the song’s pure Telugu lyrics are in step with the genre (mystical thriller) and period setting.
Director Karthik Dandu, cinematographer Shamdat, and production designer Sri Nagendra Tangala seem to be in control of the narrative.
The film’s trailer will be released soon.
