'Virata Parvam' has finally locked its release date. The Rana Daggubati-Sai Pallavi movie will hit the screens on July 1.
The Venu Udugula directorial, driven by content, is a period drama. In a poster released today, we see the lead pair hurry through while traversing a jungle. "The wait was long, but we promise you a classic," tweeted Rana, sharing the news.
"I have made the film on the basis of a few true events that unfolded in the 1990s," the director said, adding that the lead man is Comrade Ravanna with the pseudonym Aranya. Vennela is the name of the female protagonist.
Nandita Das, Zarina Wahab, and Eswari Rao are part of the cast. Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, the film has been enriched by Hollywood stunt director Stefan Richter. Dani Sanchez-Lopez, a Hollywood technician, has handled the camera work. With music by Suresh Bobbili and editing by A Sreekar Prasad of the recent 'RRR', 'Virata Parvam' has action choreography by Stephen Richard, and Peter Hein.
Sai Chand, Banerjee (recently seen in 'Acharya'), Nagineedu, Rahul Ramakrishna (recently seen in 'RRR'), Devi Prasad, Anand Ravi, and Anand Chakrapani have played other roles in the movie.
